About peterson
This family tree brings together eight major branches of the Lloyd Peterson/Virginia Loucks  family.  I've also added many, many cousins.  The dominant branches are:  Anderson/Peterson/Olsen;
 Langeberg/Dockstader/Loucks/Nellis/Klock & Randall. I am indebted to Valerie Been Lober for her research on the Anderson/Peterson families, Judy Card for the last four generations of the Langeberg family, and to Otis Dockstader, John Mallory Dockstader and Doris Dockstader Rooney for the vast research of the Dockstader Families.
 David Hill provided me with the direct linkage of the Loucks branch. This tree already has over 37,000 members, and we are not done yet. The Dockstader/Loucks/Nellis/Klock families were among the
 first white settlers to come to the Mohawk River Valley, up from the Hudson River in New York. Henrich Klock was the first white man to set foot in this area. He is our direct ancestor, as is
 Christian Nellis, the famous pioneer. (The Klock/Nellis families) I have recently found out that we
 are also direct descendants of Roger Williams, the Puritan reformer, who helped found Rhode Island.
 (Stuart Wood)

The longest branch of the tree is nineteen generations: Meyer Clamen b. 1552 (Loucks branch) to
 Zane Daniel Plueger b. 2014. (nineteen generations)

Special note should be given to Delina Ecker, born 4 MAY 1815. In 1979 she was declared the oldest
 human ever to have lived (documented) by the Guinness Book of World Records (1976 edition). She lived to be 113 years and 214 days old, first saw a doctor at 108, never wore glasses, and stood under 5ft. tall. She died in 1928 in New York, and was my great-grandfather's fifth cousin.
 Also notable, is the oldest person ever to have lived in South Dakota, Dagmar 'Dolly' Anderson(Keehn). She passed away in 2015, just shy of her 110th year. She was my father's first cousin.

There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
